Not a Raven's Fan...Prefer Dragons Instead?

I can't believe that Adam just turned a month old. Where did January go??  It happened to coincide with Superbowl XLVII weekend and I thought it was fitting to get a photo of him in his adorable matching hat and diaper cover set that Brigitte made a while back. Adam wasn't too pleased to pose for a photo though. Or maybe he's just more of a 49ers fan than I had thought :P

Also on the weekend was Adam's Full Moon Dinner celebration where we spent the evening with lots of family and LOTS of babies.  I can't believe how many babies were born in the past twelve months...though I'm sure none of us actually timed it to coincide with the year of the Dragon despite what the Globe and Mail had to write (Year of Dragon Brings Baby Boom in China).

With Brigitte and her dragon baby
The dragon babies did make for a cute photo. Here we are at the restaurant with my cousins and my brother Eric and all of their little ones.  These kids are going to have so much fun growing up together just as their parents did.

Crochet Headband

Check out my new head gear!  Brigitte crocheted this awesome headband and gave it to me today, a tad bit [fashionably] late for my birthday, but no matter...I wouldn't have had much use for it in July anyways :)  Several years ago we were at the One of a Kind show at the Ex and I saw a cute stand where they were selling just this sort of thing.  I thought they were so fabulous and really convenient because I often keep my hair in a ponytail and then have trouble stuffing it into a hat.  I didn't end up getting one mainly because I had a bunch of other winter headware at the time but I guess Brigitte always kept it in mind.  Well I'm glad she did and definitely plan on wearing it this winter.  Thank-you!
